Provisional Government hosts its first-ever webinar

Five members of the Provisional Government spoke at Gapla’s first-ever webinar, titled “Your Citizenship Journey: Why and How to Join Gapla.” The event featured speakers Chelsea Chen (President of Gapla), Rosie Cordova (Deputy President of Gapla), Wyatt Baek (Minister of Technology), Hendrik Täks (Minister of Architecture), and Dylan Sanchez (Minister of Justice).

The 16-minute webinar included introductions from each speaker, an overview of Gapla’s mission and vision, the benefits of citizenship, future plans for the nation, and a walkthrough of the citizenship application process. Attendees also learned about the exciting opportunities available to citizens, including access to the new government portal (currently in beta), official passports and ID cards, roles in Gapla’s diplomatic service, the nobility, and participation in the Provisional Government.

Ralf Stültiens, Gapla’s ambassador to the Netherlands and the head ambassador to Europe, was also highlighted for his achievement in meeting and receiving an award from the King of the Netherlands.

The webinar briefly introduced career paths within the government and the Gaplan Representation Organization (GRO), Gapla’s non-governmental organization registered with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. More detailed information on these opportunities will be shared in the next webinar. Additional resources were also provided for those interested in learning more about Gapla.
